3-day Pop Up Gallery at The District -Mall at Wellington Green
 September 16, 17, 18, 2022 
Fine Art & Fine Craft by Members of Wellington Art Society

Fall for Art, is a 3-day indoor Pop-Up Gallery at the Mall at Wellington Green presented by the Wellington Art Society. The Gallery will showcase original artwork of WAS Members available for sale to customers at the Mall and invited guests. Meet the Artists, Demos,  Reception, Awards Ceremony all add to the fun lively interactive experiences for everyone. Extensive WAS media Promotion will maximize attendance, exposure, and sales for the artists. The Mall is also providing promotion of the WAS Pop- Up Gallery Event.
Proceeds benefit the WAS Scholarship and Outreach Programs.

Artists Requirements
Each member will be allowed 1- 3 pieces of artwork and/or tabletop display
1. Only current WAS members may submit to this Call for Artists
2. WAS membership must be updated and paid for the 2022-2023 year to submit to this show.
3.WAS members who submit to this show will be required to be present at the Reception and volunteer at the Gallery for 4 other hours, which may include assisting with showing and selling the art and /or providing art demos for the public   

Categories
2D and 3D artwork: Painting, drawing, sculpture, glass, jewelry, wearable art, wood, metal, fiber,

photography, mixed media and more
-Wall artwork limited to 40” wide
-Pedestals- to be provided by artists. Tables will be provided for display.

Important Times and Dates
The Gallery will be open during these times:    

Thursday, Sept. 15     1-3pm drop off artwork, sign artist agreement  

Friday, Sept. 16           10:00am - 8:00pm      Gallery open     

Saturday, Sept. 17      10:00am - 8:00pm      Gallery open 

                                       5:00pm - 8:00pm        Reception, awards, refreshments


Sunday, Sept. 18        11:00am - 3:00pm      Gallery open 

                                      3:00pm - 5:00pm        Pick up artwork / clean-up

                                      (Mall is open until 6:00 pm)



The following items must be included in your application by August 13, 2022 to be considered for

submission to the Gallery.

1. Complete the WAS Pop-up Gallery 2022 FALL FOR ART Application online which includes: 
                  a.  Copy of your Artist statement for publicity (Word document)
                  b.  One image each for up to 3 pieces of art (jpeg,jpg). Image cannot be smaller than 100ppi. Please                               note these images will be used for promotional purposes. Label each image with the artist’s last                                 name, and title of the work (for example: SmithBlueDog).
                  c.  Description of items for tabletop display.

                  d.  The $40.00 application fee, via PayPal or Credit Card
