The Governors Club at Philips Point will display her work in a one person show during the month of December in 2005. My subject matter is the organic form. I use color to create the illusion of light and depth. I paint in oil because, by its nature, it so closely emulates life. When the viewer becomes a part of the scene I have created my paintings achieve success. The artist is presently accepting commissioned paintings and portraits. Nancy teaches oil painting and life drawing with a model to adults in her studio. Email her at ntilles@adelphia.net to obtain information about taking classes. |
