Born in Budapest Hungary and escaping that communist country in 1956, Judy moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she began painting at an early age. She studied fine art at the Cleveland Institute of Art, Cooper School of Art and received a four year scholarship to Kent State University. After graduating with honors and a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree, Judy began her professional painting career by showing her colorful watercolors at the Shaker Heights Artist’s Cooperative Gallery. Her work soon became popular and sought after and now hangs in private collections throughout the United States and Europe.

Judy’s talent and wealth of experience brings an open-minded adaptive process to her paintings which have earned her a covey of regional and national awards over the last 25 years.
