Marianne Davidson is a native New Yorker. The happenings in NY inspired her artwork. She often works from photographs of people and places, changing and adding unusual features enabling the viewer to see beyond the original images. Her paintings simultaneously show the subconscious and conscious images to the viewer. She has added inspiration from her California and Florida experiences to her art collection.

Marianne paints in Acrylics with occasional accents of charcoal and special mediums. She works in a style that combines surrealistic and impressionistic techniques. Her paintings are the reflection of the intensity and enlightenment of scenes and experiences that interest her.
