Lindy has been a tree-hugger since growing up on Nottingham Hill in the nature preserve of Sherwood Forest, Md. (Yes. That is a real magical place on the Severn River near Annapolis.) Early experiences with the outdoors led to teaching environmental and health sciences, going scuba diving and eco-adventuring around the world, and finally capturing the glory of trees in her art.

Lindy uses her scientific and soulful experiences to create art which honors nature. While designing and decorating her sanctuary in Wellington, Florida, a variety of media was used to blend the inside with the outside living spaces: photography, glass etching, wood carving, and finally the ceramic and metal that form her unique trees.

From the wise tree of life strongly rooted in the heart of the earth to a joyful sapling dancing with the breezes, trees inspire, nurture, protect and connect us to the earth. Just as in nature, each of Lindy's hand-crafted creations is one-of-a-kind, and can enhance any room in your house or lanai.
